The mission of the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina is to provide reliable, comprehensible, high quality, timely and internationally comparable statistical data that will meet the needs of decision-makers, researchers and other national and international users and will reflect the status and changes in the economic, demographic and social domain, environment and natural resources. Collection, processing, analysis and dissemination of the statistical data is done based on statistical standards and modern technologies, while protecting statistical confidentiality, and providing of the optimal use of resources and providing for the reasonable burdening of data providers.

Institute for Statistics - Federation BIH

Federal Office of Statistic of FB&H is the competent federal authority in charge of statistical work in the Federation, independent regarding the selection of data sources, statistical methods and procedures, decisions relating to the content, form and timing of distribution, on the decisions regarding the protection of the confidentiality of statistical data. The data we are collecting meet with general approval and have wide range of use. Authority of Office is based on the professional qualification of staff. Institute For Statistics - Republic of Srpska

The Republika Srpska Institute of Statistics is a republic administrative unit of Republika Srpska whose main task is to produce official statistical data for all categories of users, from the Government and other bodies, business systems, institutions of science, to the general public and individuals.

National statistical institute, Republic of Bulgaria

Nikola Tesla Airport

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (Serbian: Аеродром Београд - Никола Тесла / Aerodrom Beograd - Nikola Tesla) (IATA: BEG, ICAO: LYBE), is an international airport serving Belgrade, Serbia. Previously known as Belgrade Airport or Surčin Airport, it was renamed in 2006 in honour of Serbian born scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla. It is the busiest airport in the former Yugoslavia.

Regional Profiles

The publication „Regional Profiles: Indicators of Development” aims to provide objective and comprehensive information on the development of Bulgarian districts. Through the elaboration of seperate district profiles and additional thematic analyses, the publication presents the economic and social aspects of life in every district.

Regional Research Promotion Programme

The RRPP is aimed at fostering and promoting social science research in the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia). Social science research aids in the understanding of the specific needs for reform and in identifying the long-term implications of potential policy choices. Researchers receive support through research grants, methodological and thematic trainings, as well as opportunities for regional and international exchange and networking. The RRPP is coordinated and operated by the Interfaculty Institute for Central and Eastern Europe (IICEE) at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). The programme is fully funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.

State Statistical Office, Republic of Macedonia

The State Statistical Office is specialised and independent organisation within the state administration in the Republic of Macedonia. The basic functions of the institution are collecting, processing and disseminating statistical data about the demographic, social and economic situation of the Macedonian society. Besides that, the State Statistical Office is the primary bearer and coordinator of the statistical system of the country, the responsible institution for international cooperation in the field of statistics, for defining the statistical methodologies and standards, as well as for providing protection of the individual data collected from individual persons and legal entities.

Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia

The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia is specialized, professional organization within the public administration of the Republic of Serbia, performing expert tasks related to: Adopting programs, organization and conducting of the statistical surveys, i.e. methodology creation; Collecting, processing, statistical analysis and publishing of the statistical data; Preparation and adopting of unique statistical standards; Development, maintenance and usage of administrative and statistical registers of the Republic; Establishing and maintenance of the system of national accounts; Cooperation and expert coordination with bodies and organizations that are in charge of carrying out the statistical surveys; Cooperation with international organizations so as to provide standardization and data comparability; Data processing, with the aim of providing election results and referendum on the level of the Republic, Other tasks stipulated by the law.

Turkish Statistical Institute

The Turkish Statistical Institute is founded of the Statistics Council and the Presidency of the Turkish Statistical Institute with Statistics Law of Turkey numbered 5429. The Statistics Council is established to advice on the development and implementation of the Programme and on the production and use of official statistics; to determine and assess the areas in which official statistics are needed and to provide opinions and suggestions for future works to be carried out. The Presidency of the Turkish Statistical Institute consists of central and provincial organizations to implement this law and to perform tasks assigned by it.
